Daglo Emphasizes Transitioanl Period Institutions Commitment to achievement of Peace

Khartoum, (SUNA)- The First Vice-President of the Sovereign Council Let. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has affirmed commitment of institutions of the transitional period to achievement of inclusive peace , maintaining security and stability and addressing the all economic issues.

He reviewed, during meeting with a delegation from Messairiya tribe led by Nazir (chieftain) Al –Sadiq Heraika, progress of peace negotiations with the armed struggle movements in Juba which aim to address the root causes of conflicts in the country.

Al-Nazir Heraika, for his part, affirmed important of the meeting the issues discussed with the First Vice-President of the Sovereign Council , top of which, was the peace file.

He appreciated increasing concern the First Vice-President of the Sovereign Council has been paying to native administrations in the country and his deep faith in the essential role carried out the native administration in achievement of peace and stability.
