-The First Vice President of Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has affirmed the importance of coordination and cooperation between Sudan and United Sates of America in all fields.
This came when Daglo received today at the Republican Palace the US Special Envoy for Horn of Africa Jeffrey Feltman.
The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and means of developing them.
Daglo hailed the keenness of US administration for supporting the success of transitional period in Sudan.
Meanwhile he welcomed appointing of Feltman as US Special Envoy for Horn of Africa.
He furthermore affirmed Sudan full cooperating with Feltman to make his mission a success, pointing to the importance of continuous consultation between the leaderships in two countries.
He said this would help in solving all issues in the region.
Daglo stressed that Sudan is keen on stability and development of the region.
The US envoy on his part affirmed the importanace of Sudan and the Horn of African for the United States.
Meanwhile he said he is looking forward for coordination and cooperation to make his mission a success.
Moreover he described Sudanese – American relations as historic and deeply rooted.
