CBOS to hold foreign currency auction Wednesday

The Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS) has announced that it would hold its 14th. foreign currency auction next Wednesday for a total amount of 60 million US dollars.

The CBOS pointed out in a circular it issued today that the auction comes in implementation of the bank’s policy of managed exchange rate policy and within the framework of efforts to stabilize the exchange rate of the national currency.

It added that the highest value of application allowed to be submitted by each bank is 20% of the total sum of the auction.
