Blue Nile River level declines, irrigating pumps operated in Sinnar

– Level of Blue Nile River declined today at Singa town south of the dam in Sinnar state.

The level registered 30.50 meters, with 88 cm. low than yesterday (Sunday) level.

Acting Minister of Infrastructure in Sinnar State Eng. Abdalla said in statement to SUNA that the river level has started declining since yesterday, predicating continuity of the declination after the decrease of water flow at Al-Daim station on Sudanese –Ethiopian border.

Meanwhile, he said that irrigating pumps which were flooded two days ago started operations to watering the agricultural projects in the state as from yesterday.
