AU Peace and Security Council delegation visits Al-Fash

The Wali (Governor) of North Darfur State, Mohammed Hassan Arabi brie fed the visiting delegation of the African Union Peace and Security Council led by the Kenyan Permanent Representative to the AU on the overall situations in the state.

Arabi reviewed the security and humanitarian situations and the implications of the UNAMID’s exit from the state, referring to the needs and priorities for his government during the coming period.

The Governor, during the meeting, appreciated the AU over its “great and considerable “ efforts with regard to supporting development and peace in the country.
