American Charge d’Affaires Affirms US Support to Change in Sudan

The Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United States to Khartoum, Brian Shukan, has affirmed the United States’ support to the change that took place in Sudan, pointing to the progress in the relations between Khartoum and Washington in various domains, especially the economic field.

Addressing a program organized by the state to welcome his visit, Shukan said that he got informed during his visit to West Kordofan State on the Investment opportunities and the capabilities that characterize the state’s localities in all aspects of investment.

Shukan said that the the aim of his visit to West Kordofan State is to identify opportunities for investment for inviting the investors and companies to operate in the state.

Meanwhile, the Wali (governor) of the West Kordofan State has pointed to the efforts being exerted in providing basic services for the citizens.

He also referred to the communication that took place with the petroleum companies operating in the state’s areas to establish social responsibility programs.
