Khartoum, (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, has welcomed the visit of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi, indicating that his meeting with President Al-Sisi at the Republican Palace has affirmed the cooperation and coordination between Sudan and Egypt and the leaders in the two countries.
He thanked President Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi for his response to the invitation to visit Sudan at a time when the country is going through a phase of transition that is witnessing several difficulties, indicating that the transition needs concerted efforts and the support of the brothers and friends.
He said that the visit of President Al-Sisi is considered a real support for the revolution and the people of Sudan, because it is aimed at strengthening brotherly ties between the two countries.
Al-Burhan pointed out that the two sides have discussed all the files that support the joint cooperation and reached unified visions that serve the progress of the two peoples and contribute to the stability in the two countries.
He expressed thanks to the government and people of Egypt for their honorable and supportive stances to Sudan and the government of the transitional period for establishing and boosting the democratic governance that Sudan and the world aim to reach in a healthy and sound transitional period
