Al-Burhan: Sudan looking for great cooperation with Turkey in defense industries

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, indicated during his visit today to the Headquarter of the Defense Industries in Turkey, that the Sudan is looking forward, in addition to the political cooperation, to obtaining a large amount of the advanced Turkish technology in the field of defense industries.

During his visit to the Headquarter of the Defense Industries in Turkey accompanied by the Turkish Vice President Fuat Utkay, Lit. Gen. Al- Burhan commended the great technological development of Turkey’s  defense industries,  noting that made it one of the field regional and international leading countries in this field.

He underlined the great support that Turkey continued to provide to Sudan, especially during the siege periods.

During his visit today to the Presidency of Defense Industries in Turkey, in the presence of Turkish Vice President Fuat Utkay, he said that Sudan is looking forward, in addition to political cooperation, to obtaining a large amount of advanced Turkish technology in the field of defense industries.

His pointed out to the great support that Turkey continued to provide to Sudan, especially during the embargo period.

On his part, the Turkish Vice President Fuat Utkay,Oktay affirmed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Sudan in the field of defense industries, especially in the field of financing, and to remove all obstacles facing it.

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council was accompanied during the visit by the Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Yassin Ibrahim Yassin, the Director of General Intelligence,  Lieutenant-General Jamal Eddin Abdul Majid, the Director of the Sudanese Defense Industries System, Lieutenant-General Mirghani Idris, and the Director of the Turkish Defense Industries Corporation Professor Ismail Mouder.
