Al-Burhan sends message to Senegalse President

The Head of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lt-General, Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan sent a message to the Senegalese President, Macky Sall dealing with the development of bilateral relations and the xtending of an invitation of the Senegalese President to visit Sudan.

The message was delivered by the member of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant -General Ibrahim Jaber when the Senegalese President received him, last Monday, at his office in the Presidential Palace, in the presence of the Senegalese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amadou Bah, and the diplomatic advisor to the President of the Republic, Ambassador, Fatou Niyang.

General, Jaber, during the meeting briefed the Senegalese President on the developments of situations in Sudan and the ongoing peace talks in Juba, adding that Sudan looks forward to a balanced foreign relation with all the countries to realize the interests of the people.

Meanwhile, the Senegalese President thanked the SC Member, greeting the Head of the Transitional Sovereign Counciand the Prime Minister for their great efforts to maintain peace and security in the country.

The two sides agreed to reactivate the joint ministerial committees and speed up the signing of the memos of understanding on the political consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs in the two countries.
