Al-Burhan returns from Juba after signing Declaration of Principles

Khartoum,  (SUNA) – The Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC). General, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan returned from Juba, Sunday, the capital of the Republic of South Sudan after signing the Declaration of Principles between the Government and the Sudanese People’s Liberation Movement-North prior to start the official peace negotiations between the two parties.

He was received, at the airport, by the TSC Secretary General, Ibrahim Jaber.

Al-Burhan, during his two-day visit to Juba held talks with the SPLM- North leader, Abdel Aziz Al-Hilo on the Declaration of Principles between the Government and the movement.

The TSC Head and the President of the Republic of South Sudan, General, Salva Kiir Mayardit held bilateral summit in Juba dealing with the bilateral relations and strengthening of peace process.
