Al Burhan Reaffirms Important Role of Sufi Sects in Heightening Societal Values

Khartoum, (SUNA)-The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council(TSC), Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al Burhan has reaffirmed the huge role being carried out by the Sufi sects in Sudan and its concern with the people’s issues

Having met with delegation of the Higher Council for Sufism at his office Wednesday, the TSC President underscored the state keenness on participation of all spectrums of the society in the political transitional process without excluding any persons.

Chairman of Sheikhs Council at the Higher Council for Sufism, Abdul Rahim Mohamed said in a press statement that the meeting discussed issues of security, stability and living of the people besides the situations at the eastern borders and issue of the Renaissance dam

He described as fruitful the meeting with the TSC President for , he explained , tackled issues of concern to citizens’ life.
