Al-Burhan Pledges to Remove Difficulties Facing Qatari Investments in Sudan

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, has welcomed the Qatari investments in Sudan and pledged to remove the difficulties facing them.

During his meeting Wednesday at Sheraton Hotel in Doha with the sector of the Qatari businessmen and institutions working in Sudan and the trade chambers in Qatar, Al-Burhan appreciated firmness of the Sudanese – Qatari relations in all fields.

He pointed to the increase in investment opportunities in Sudan after the revolution, especially that the transitional government has already begun to create an investment environment, appreciating Qatari investments in Sudan from the public and private sectors.

The President of the Sovereignty Council lauded the leadership in the State of Qatar, indicating that Qatar has presented a model for the world in development and progress, despite the circumstances that it faced, calling in the conclusion of his speech for more communication between the two countries.

On their part, the Qatari investors expressed their desire and readiness to invest in Sudan in various fields, especially in the field of food security.
