Al-Burhan Meets Delegation of Freedom and Change Unity Alliance

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, received in his office Wednesday a delegation of the Freedom and Change Unity Alliance, headed by the leader of the National Umma Party, Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Fadlalla Burma Nasir, and discussed the alliance plans and programs for the current and future stages.

In a press statement, Maj. Gen. Fadlalla Burma Nasir, said that the meeting provided opportunity to exchange views on the general situation in the country, the people’s livelihood and the alliance issues, indicating that a common vision was reached about the unity of the Sudanese rank to address the issues of the country and achieve a national consensus to meet the aspirations and hopes of the Sudanese people.

He explained that the meeting dealt with the current situation in the country and assured the importance of joint work and to making visits to the states to be informed on the citizens’ problems and needs.

Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Nasir indicated that the meeting also stressed the importance of unity for progress of the transitional period to complete its tasks and to free and fair elections.
