Al-Burhan Decrees establishment of Federal Regional Government System

Khartoum  (SUNA) – The Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt- General, Abdel Fatah Al-Burhan, on Thursday, decreed the establishment of the Federal Regional Government System, in Sudan for 2021,

The constitutional decree stipulated the implementation of the (federal) regional system of government following the convening of the Conference on the System of Government in Sudan that defines the regions, their number and borders, their structures, and powers, and the levels of governance and administration, in a manner that does not contradict the Juba Agreement for Sudan Peace 2020.
