Al-Burhan: Armed Forces will not Abandon any Inch of Sudan Lands

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, Wednesday met with the officers of the Armed Forces at the rank of brigadier and above.

Gen. Al-Burhan has heard the officers’ proposals and opinions regarding the issues of the Armed Forces, stressing the importance of the cohesion of the Armed Forces and their role in addressing threats targeting the territorial integrity and destabilizing the national security.

He affirmed the leadership’s determination and will to move forward in maintaining a strong and deterrent Armed Forces by continuous concern with the Armed Forces personnel, the work environment and the equipment,

Gen. Al-Burhan has asserted the readiness of the Armed Forces to implement the security arrangements according to the Juba Agreement for Peace in Sudan.

He called for giving no heed to the rumors aimed at destabilizing the Armed Forces and its cohesion, stressing that there will not be neglection to any inch of Sudan land.
