Khartoum(SUNA) – The President of the Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, Saturday evening received at his office the visiting Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouli, who convoyed to Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan the greetings of the President of Egypt, Abdul-Fatah Al-Sisi, and his invitation to him to visit Egypt in the coming period.
Al-Burhan renewed Sudan keenness to strengthen further the cooperation and the relations between the two countries, pointing to the need to negotiate on the issue of the Renaissance Dam within the framework of the African Union and between the three countries to reach an agreement in a friendly manner that achieves their common interests and preserves the eternal relations between them.
The Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli, affirmed the resolution of the two brotherly countries to promote the bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
He explained that his country will quadruple the electrical connection during the coming period, calling for taking advantage of the initiative of Egyptian President, Abdul-Fattah El-Sisi, for treatment a million African citizens from the virus (C).
