Al-Burhan affirms commitment of developing relations with South Sudan

President of Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan has affirmed keenness and commitment of Sudan to promote and develop bilateral relations with the Republic of  South Sudan.

This came when Al-Burhan met,today at his office, in the Republican Palace, with the South Sudan delegation headed by president Salva kiir Mayardit’s Adviser for Security Affairs, Tut Gawak .

TSC President gave directives to all committees and departments in charge of borders and crossing points to finalize their work as soon as possible and open crossing points and roads that link between the two countries.

The president also directed River Transport Cooperation to start shipment of commercial goods from Kosti to Malkal and Juba without restrictions.

Galwak, on his part, said in a press statement that South Sudan delegation arrived in Khartoum in response to directives from President Salva to discuss crossing points and border issues
