Acting FM Meets US Envoy

Khartoum(SUNA) – The Acting Foreign Minister, Omar Gamar Edeen met, Wednesday, at his office, the US Special envoy to Sudan, Donald Booth and reviewed with him a number of issues top of which, implementation of Juba Peace Agreement.

On the exit of the UNAMID , IN December, the minister affirmed the government’s readiness to take over following the withdrawal of the mission, particularly, the protection of civilians and strengthening of peace and stability.

The US Envoy said he reviewed with the Sudanese officials issues pertinent to the investment in Sudan after the lifting of its name from the terrorist list
