Khartoum, (SUNA) – The leader of Sudan Liberation Movement, Abdul-Wahid Mohamed Nur, stressed that the peace issue is a single one in every part of Sudan and that its solution should be in one platform inside Sudan and not outside it, and that the Sudanese have no solution other than to unite their rank.
In his intervention at the Friendship Hall Wednesday evening via Skype from his residence in France, on the occasion of December Revolution anniversary, Abdul-Wahid said that Sudan Liberation Movement has a great desire for peace and will strive to achieve real and comprehensive peace that ensures the rights of citizens and building a state of law and institutions and peace based on the unity of Sudan without regional, ethnic or partisan quotas.
He said that the transitional government, headed b they Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, should be an independent government and composed of ministers who are known for their competence in order to sit down to solve Sudan’s problems of the country.
The leader of Sudan Liberation Movement has praised the regular forces and their great efforts so that the Sudanese revolution did not turn into bloods and the country slide into war.
He also lauded the role of youths who sacrificed their lives to enable Sudan to enjoy freedom, indicating that the country is now liberated from tribalism, regionalism and intellectual deception in the name of religion.
Abdu-Wahid demanded that the list of the 51 accused persons shall be handed over to the International Criminal Court, top of the is Omer Al-Bashir, so that they get their punishment and that such a crime that they have committed shall not be repeated, calling on the youth of the revolution to push ahead in this direction.
