Tawer: Purposed misleading practiced against the state concerning COVID-19 vaccine

The Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Chairman of the Higher Committee for Health Emergencies, Prof. Siddig Tawer has accused some circles which he did not name, practiced deliberate political misinformation against the state during the beginning of the Corona virus pandemic, pointing out to the continuation of the struggle against misleading rumors on the disease vaccines.

Prof. Tawer addressing the inaugural session of the Workshop on the Role of Media and Multimedia in Combating Misinformation and Rumors concerning COVID-19 which held today, in Al-Salam Rotana and organized by Sayara International outlined that the culture of the Sudanese communities contradicted the state’s trend to curb the spread of the virus, calling for working out research studies on the virus in anticipation of the virus continuity and the emergence of renewed variants of it.
