Sudan and Qatar sign memo of Understanding on Human Rights

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Qatar National Human Rights Committee signed, Thursday, a memo of Understanding in the presence of the Foreign Minister, Dr. Mariam Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi and the committee’s Chairman, Ali Bin Al-Marri.

The memo aimed at strengthening and protection of the human rights focusing on the issues concerning the two parties.

The Director of the Financial and Human Resources, at the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Adel Hussein Sharfi who signed for Sudan said the signing of the memo institutes cooperation relation and experience exchange between the FM and the Qatari Human Rights Committee.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Qatari, Committee Sultan bin Hassan Al Jamali who signed for his country said the signing of the memo of understanding will strengthen the existing cooperation between the two sides in human rights fields
