New wave of Ethiopian refugees crosses into Sudan

Three thousands of Ethiopian refugees crossed the Sudanese  borders on Monday evening, arriving at, Taya village, Basonda locality in Gedarif State.

A reliable source pointed out that the figure is considered the biggest number of refugees to cross into the country in one day since the first wave that Sudan has witnessed since the outbreak of war last November in Tigray Region.

The source added that the wave may  worsen security and humanitarian situation due to armed conflicts erupting at western area of Ethiopian.

The Sudanese authorities according to the source hostedand sheltered the refugees in makeshift camps.
