Leadership Council of Sudan Call holds meeting

The Sudan Call alliance has underscored in a meeting of its Leadership Council, which was chaired by Secretary General of the alliance Meni Arko Menawi, the unity of the group and working for its restructuring and reform.

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the National Ummah Party (NUP) in Omdurman yesterday evening, affirmed in a statement it issued its support to NUP’s initiative for reform of Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC).

The Sudan Call group called for a meeting of members of its components in the central council of the FFC next Tuesday to consider continuation of membership of the group in the present central council of FFC.

The statement said the latest meetings of the Sudan Call group aim at addressing challenges facing the transitional period, supporting the peace process, boosting the unity of FFC and presenting a matrix for resolving the security, economic and political crises.
