Khartoum,(SUNA)-The Joint Sudan-Egypt Technical Committee began sessions at Coral Hotel in Khartoum Tuesday.
Sudan side was chaired by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary , Yasser Khidir while the side of Egypt was headed by Assistant of Foreign Minister and Direct of Sudan and South Sudan Department at Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Hussam Issa.
Head of the Sudanese side said the meeting will discuss a number of agreements and executive programs in political, security, consular , economic, financial , services , transport, agricultural , irrigation education and cultural areas, indicating that all those sectors stand as scopes for cooperation and exchange of benefits and interests.
He said the meetings coincide with convocation of the Joint Council of the Sudanese and Egyptian Businessmen which draw up the executive program , referring to pivotal role of private sector in enhancement of bilateral relations and maximization of benefits.
The Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry affirmed existence of political will for pressing ahead with boosting cooperation between the two countries in all fields to reach stage of strategic partnership
