Hamdouk Receives People’s Initiative for Peaceful Coexistence in S. Kordofan State

Khartoum(SUNA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdallah Hamdouk received on Tuesday 28 October the people’s initiative for peaceful coexistence in South Kordofan State.

This came when the Prime Minister met at his office a delegation of the people’s initiative, headed by Yassin Mohamed Yassin, who pointed out in a press statement that they briefed the Prime Minister on the outcome of meetings held in Juba between a delegation of the initiative and Chairman of SPLM-N Commander Abdulaziz Al Hilu.

Yassin said that the move can contribute to realization of peaceful coexistence among the components of the community in South Kordofan State.

Member of the delegation of the initiative Dr. Nasr-Eddin Al-Nur, on his part, said they acquainted the Prime Minister on the efforts made by the delegations of the people’s initiative, explaining that Dr. Hamdouk affirmed during the meeting the historic and deeply rooted ties linking the components of the society in South Kordofan and commended the popular initiatives for building peace.
