Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Al-Tahir Hajar has commended the big roles being assumed by the State of Qatar in boosting economic and social development projects in Sudan.
This came when the TSC member received at his office at the Republican Palace here today Chairman of the Gulf Oil Company, Sheikh Abdelaziz Hamad Al-Dailami.
He explained that Sudan has become fully prepared to attract investors after the investment law was approved and the name of Sudan had been removed from the list of states sponsoring terrorism, stressing the government’s keenness to facilitate everything that would advance the economy and development through foreign investment.
The Chairman of the Gulf Oil Company affirmed the company’s seriousness to adopt large projects in Sudan related to electric connectivity, railway projects and medical cities.
He indicated that implementation of these projects will take place through a coalition of European, Canadian and Arab companies.
