FM meets HM King of Bahrain

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mariam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi met His Majesty King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at Al Sakhir Palace in Manama Monday evening.

His Majesty the King hailed the strong historic and steadily-growing relations binding Bahrain and Sudan across all fields.

Dr. Al Mahdi conveyed to HM the King greetings from President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Gen. Abdel- Fattah Al-Burhan and Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.

She reiterated Sudan’s appreciation of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by HM the King, as well as Bahrain’s role in supporting pan-Arab action.

HM the King commended the efforts of the Sudanese expatriate community and their contribution to the Kingdom’s development.

HM the King hailed the official opening of the Sudanese embassy in the Kingdom, which reflects outstanding and deep-rooted relations and steadily-growing cooperation towards serving common goals and interests.

He reiterated Bahrain’s support to Sudan’s efforts to bolster peace, stability and development.
