Khartoum (SUNA) -The Acting Federal Health Minister Dr. Osama Ahmed Abdul-Rahim has affirmed the government keenness on distribution of health services justly among all states of the country, helping people access to health services and providing support to Sennar State to ward off the impact of the Autumn floods.
Dr Abdul- Rahim signaled, during meeting with Wali (governor) of Sennar State , Al Tayeb Al Mahi in the presence of Director of Health Emergency and Epidemics combating Directorate, Dr Tahani Al-Amin and Director of the General Directorate of the International Health, Dr Amal Al Fateh, that his Ministry is endeavoring to provide suport to Sennar State , stressing importance of enhancement of health services in all states of Sudan through provision of the medical equipment and just distribution of health cadres.
The Minister committed to provide Sennar State with medicines of malaria, calling on Wali of the State to work out a clear health program , unveiling that there was a plan with WHO to train physicians in the various States on modern systems of hospital management
Wali of Sennar State, Al Tayeb Al Mahi, for his part, said that the State is in need of some specific types of medical equipment and medicines for emergency cases as well.
.He noted to importance of providing the State with medicines of malaria due to rise of infection rate in the State, mosquito nets and pesticides to fight the Autumn diseases.
