Customs hands over 12 kilograms of gold to the Ministry of Finance

Khartoum,   (SUNA) – Lieutenant-General, Dr. Police. Bashir Al-Taher Bashir, Head of the Customs Authority, said the Custom Authority handed over the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, gold bars of (12) kilos and (161) grams, which were seized during the last month by employees of the Customs Authority, with an estimated value of about (283) million Sudanese pounds, after taking all Legal procedures against those accused of smuggling.

Lt-General, Al-Taher lauded his forces which protect the country’s economy against smuggling of minerals and foreign currencies.
